Anthill is a ‘speed-scaling ecosystem’ and early-stage investor in more than 70 start-ups in India, the US, Europe, Israel, and SE Asia across four verticals - Consumer & Media Tech; Healthcare; Urban Tech; Web3 & the Metaverse.
Over the last three decades, Prasad has led corporate consulting assignments for large organizations like Nike, Nestle, Novartis, and Google; set up and scaled ventures in technology and media; and invested in and provided support to help Anthill’s portfolio companies achieve rapid growth.
Prasad has participated in business transformation across sectors and markets as a corporate executive, entrepreneur, and investor. He believes the most successful start-ups not only display extreme agility but can also demonstrate the scalability that is a crucial characteristic of large corporations.
Prasad is an active alum of the Stanford Business School. He has also served as a board advisor to ISB (Indian School of Business) and the SRITNE (Srini Raju Centre for IT and Networked Economy) at ISB. He has been quoted in some of the world’s leading media, including CNN, Entrepreneur, Forbes Asia, Business Standard, The Economic Times, and Washington Post.
Sailesh is a Partner at Anthill Ventures and manages
fundraising and investor relations at the firm. He also
oversees Anthill’s Urban Tech vertical and its accelerator

Sailesh started his career with Boston Telecom in the US. In
2005, he moved to Sparc Technologies, an IT consulting firm, before moving back to India in
2009. He was a key member of the leadership team at IntelliDecs, a Hyderabad-based EPC
services company focused on infrastructure projects. During his tenure at IntelliDecs, Sailesh
specialized in sustainability, leading initiatives focused on Green Building Technology, Home
& Industrial Lighting, E-Waste, and Solar Power.
He has a degree in Electronics and Communication from Vasavi College of Engineering, and
a Masters in Telecommunications and Computer Networking from George Mason

Zaran has over 4 years of Venture Capital and Venture Building experience across consumer,
enterprise and early stage sectors in Asia.
Most recently, he was the Lead Senior Associate for all Anthill Venture scaling programs as
Head, A-scale. He consequently lead the Growth initiative for the Anthill Partner Network,
building out a robust platform of corporate and government partners. Anthill Ventures is a global
early stage Venture Capital, where based out of Singapore, Zaran’s articles on the ecosystem
have been covered across various tech journals in Asia. As one of the world’s largest network
VCs, Anthill manages over
Prior to that, he was the Entrepreneur in Residence at Mountain Partners in Bangkok where he
managed portfolio companies at a dedicated resource level across SaaS, social, and enterprise
segments. It is here where he developed his skillset into Venture Ops.
Having graduated in 2017 from with a dual CEMS Masters degree from University of St. Gallen,
Switzerland, and University College Dublin, Ireland in International Management, Zaran started
off as an International Business Development fellow at Mountain Partners and has grown
across the course of his journey to Senior Associate at Anthill Ventures.
Sameer Ganapathy is a senior executive turned entrepreneur with over 27 years of experience in Web 3.0, media & entertainment, gaming, health technology & consumer products industries. He was leading Disney India’s technology & Interactive vertical till 2017 and held senior management and board positions at Disney India, UTV, Sony & Discovery Networks. Has successfully launched startups in health technology & Consumer Products. Co Inventor of Medical Devices & advanced analytical systems
Strategic Communications Advisor
Brian is a communications leader with more than 25 of experience in technology, investment development, financial services, healthcare, mental health, and the not-for-profit sector. He has crafted communications programs in India and the Middle East and offered communications counsel to CEOs, heads of state, and public figures. He also holds concurrent roles as the Director of Communications & PR at HungerBox, a B2B FoodTech firm, and as Head of Communications & PR at LiveLoveLaugh, a mental health NGO.
When he isn’t working, Brian loves spending time with his wife and teenage children, keeping in touch with friends and family, playing the classical guitar, and volunteering his time and talents towards social impact initiatives.
Lanka Sai Sameeraz
Sameer is a part of the Investment Banking and Capital Syndication arm of Anthill. He has successfully handled deals and raised angel capital for multiple seed and early-stage startups in India across UrbanTech, Consumer, Lifestyle and Web 3.0 verticals. He brings strong exposure in core finance and effectively builds and maintains relationships.
Previously, he worked at a Renewable EnergyTech startup as a Business Development Analyst, helping them scale and in successfully raising capital. Prior to that, he was at Deloitte as an Audit Associate and has worked on large multinational clients such as ITC, TATA Projects and Gulf Oil. He is an Angel Investor too, effectively building a sector agnostic portfolio for himself.
Sameer has a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Madras University and is also pursuing Chartered Accountancy.
Program Manager - Lumos Health
Simran is passionate about creating impact. Prior to Anthill Ventures, she was with Microsoft for Startups leading Project Amplify. The program supported 45+ technology startups in Agriculture, Education, Health, and Sustainability across 9 countries.
Her career has taken her into exciting roles across ecosystems in the US and India. She has worked in startups, academia, research and non-profit organizations. After graduating with a major in Neuroscience, Behavior and Psychology, she worked in Boston as a Research assistant and Project Manager. Her research papers have been published in multiple journals and she co-authored a chapter in an Oxford University Press Book.
Outside work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new music and reading.
HR and Admin
Mohammed Fazal is an HR and an Admin at Anthill Ventures. He manages all the Onboarding and Offboarding activities. He ensure that the organization is able to achieve success through people. manage the human capital of an organization and focus on implementing policies and processes. He specialized as an Operating Manager, as well as maintaining employee relations or benefits.
Previously, he worked at Sapta Global Inc where he helped as a support function to the business, helping to minimize costs and reduce risk.
Fazal has a Bachelors in ECE from JNTU College of Engineering.
A Venture Capital & IB professional with over 11 years experience in Startup Investments, VC Fundraising, Corporate Innovation & CVC, Strategic Alliances and business development working with Google, Microsoft Accelerator, Venture Catalysts & Zone Startups(BSE). He has also worked on strategy & fundraising consulting for global incubators, helped set up VC funds & Angel Funds.

Deeksha Narendra Kumar
Senior Analyst, Anthill Ventures
Deeksha is excited to partner with mission-driven founders who are challenging the status quo with technology.
Deeksha focuses on investments in healthcare, media and consumer companies in India. Prior to Anthill, she worked as a Portfolio Manager at Social Alpha. During her time there, Deeksha worked on thesis building, deal evaluation, investment due diligences and portfolio management with startups in the health-tech and ed-tech space. She was also part of Alphabet- the investment banking team at Social Alpha.
Deeksha is a B. Com (Hons.) graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. Her interests in the investment field sparks from the roles she held in an international not-for-profit organisation prior to joining Social Alpha and her internship experience, where she worked on financial modelling, problem solving and brand building strategies. Outside of work, Deeksha loves trekking and travelling.
Investments and Scaling Lead
Prapti Patel leads investments and scaling support to startups in the Urban Tech & Sustainability vertical at Anthill. She has launched two scaling programs - in UrbanTech and Sustainable PropTech - with cohorts of pre-seed and seed startups across India, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Many of these have gone on to raise their pre-A and A rounds.
Previously, she worked at Dasra where she helped raise $28M in philanthropic funding from the US to India and consulted with leading Indian nonprofits to help them scale and raise funds successfully.
Prapti has a Bachelors in Law from ILS Law College and is a Young India Fellow at Ashoka University.
Shiva is an Accountant. He handles Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Closings. He manages all Accounting Transactions.
Previously, he worked in a Chartered Accountant Firm as an Audit Assistant. And also he worked in Genpact as a Process Associate.
Shiva has a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Omega Degree College affiliated with Osmania University and is also pursuing his Master's Degree.
